Who are consultations for?

Anyone looking to start their own business, re-brand their current business, or anyone who has design related questions seeking advice from an industry professional.

Why do I need a brand consultant?

Defining a proper brand strategy is one of the most important parts of starting your business. It can save you not only a HEAP of time, but a whole lot of money too. Many start-up brands skip this step due to:

a) their lack of knowledge and experience of the brand development process

It is much, much easier to start with a proper foundation to build upon, rather than winging it and trying to develop your brand strategy ‘as you go’. It’s akin to building a house starting with the roof and working your way down; unstable, messy and completely illogical.

b) a lack of budget

Initially, new brands feel their investment is more important elsewhere, which could not be further from the truth! Your brand strategy will allow you, your team, future partners, suppliers and customers to know what your brand offering entails.

c) not wanting to pigeonhole their offering  or alienate an audience by being ‘too specific’

The idea that a brand strategy pigeonholes your purpose is completely false. Not only does it help your target audience connect with and understand your brand – your strategy can move and shift with your brand along the way, but your core values should remain the same.

Through consultation, I can help you:

  1. Define your audience

  2. Research your competitor landscape

  3. ‘Point of Difference’ – Establish what sets you apart from the competition

  4. Define your brands core values

  5. Develop key messaging to use across brand content

  6. Find a tone of voice that will resonate with your audience
